1.5 Tonnes Of Copper Stolen From Thornton

The hunt for the culprits is on.

Police are on the hunt for the thieves responsible for stealing 1.5 tonnes of copper cable from a business in Thornton.

It's believed $30,000 of cable was taken from a premises on Glenwood Drive on Tuesday night at around 10:30pm.

Anyone with info is urged to contact police - and scrap dealers are being urged to keep an eye out too.
