Wagga Police are appealing to the public for information as they investigate an alleged child approach in Turvey Park.
Officers say just after 4pm on Wednesday, a 10-year-old girl got off a bus at the intersection of Urana Street and Trevor Streets, when she was approached by a man who asked her a question then allegedly grabbed her by the arm.
She was able to break free and run away, with police releasing a description of the man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
He’s Caucasian in appearance, aged between 30 and 40, about 170 centimetres tall with a medium build, and was wearing a purple, black and white polo shirt with a distinctive logo and lightning bolt on the front, a baseball cap and white joggers.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Wagga Police or Crimestoppers.
