Ever since last month’s attacks on female joggers in south Adelaide, Bec & Cosi have committed to shining a light on the safety of women on our streets when it’s dark.

After speaking with the women who were assaulted, both told us that they hadn’t been outside for a jog since, but why should we have to change our habits because of the horrible actions of others?

Speaking with listeners about what we can do about this, a few people suggested running with friends or groups, which we love!

Check out this list below of organised running groups around town supplied to us by a listener Michelle from North Brighton!

This is why Bec & Cosi are calling on all women of Adelaide, and the men who stand with them, to Reclaim the Run!

On Thursday June 6th we are hosting a free event for the public -  a 3 kilometre run to support women, meeting at the Elder Park Rotunda at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

You can run or walk – whatever your fitness level, you are welcome.
