The Invictus Games has captured the attention and hearts of the nation as wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women leave us all awestruck at their physical and mental capabilities.
The latest moment to encompass the spirit of the games happened yesterday when former UK mine warfare specialist Paul Guest was playing wheelchair tennis as a helicopter flew overhead, triggering his post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Guest was left frozen, visibly affected, and unable to take his serve.
His Dutch playing partner, Edwin Vermetten, noticed immediately and rushed over to comfort him, pulling their heads together in an emotional embrace.
“I took him by the face and said ‘Look at me. We are a team so let it go,” said Vermetten.
“Look into my eyes and sing the ‘Frozen’ song, and we did.
"For him, this was the moment he let go, and he did, he literally let it all go.”
The two say they are "brothers for life".
