Griffith City Council is rolling out the welcome mat to greet new residents in the city, with a welcome reception to be held next month.
Our newest community members are invited to attend the informal event to meet civic leaders and neighbours and receive a 'welcome pack'.
We think this is a good way to meet many of our new residents and encourage them to be engaged in our community. Our welcome packs will have lots of useful information such as health and medical services, education options, recreation and other facilities.- Mayor John Dal Broi
The reception will feature a free movie screening, popcorn and pizza for the whole family to enjoy!
