Mamma Mia!! The Griffith Italian Festival is almost here and we cannot wait to sink our teeth into some authentic Italian cuisine!
As part of the "A Taste Of Italy" weekend, from August 23rd until August 25th, there will be pasta eating competitions, cooking demonstrations and some traditional Italian dancing available for keen spectators to participate in.
As if that's not enough to lure you in, festival goers will also have a full day of salami tasting on offer on the Sunday, along with plenty of delicious Italian wines and snacks.
The best part is, the proceeds from the Italian BBQ sausages, raffle tickets and the Griffith Italian Festival Aprons will be going towards two deserving, local charities - The Griffith Can Assist and the Griffith Post School Options.
Bronte and Sam managed to get in touch with Saturday's MC, Lou Greco who tells us what to expect on the Saturday, as well as the Organiser, Roy Catanzariti, who tells us all about the Festa Della Salsicce (a.k.a the Salami Festival) on the Sunday.
