Ariana Grande is the latest casualty to fall victim to a tattoo which has a completely different meaning to what she hoped.
Celebrating her latest hit ‘7 Rings’ breaking streaming records and debuting at the top of the charts, Ariana had the song’s title tattooed on her hand.
But after posting a photo of her new ink on Instagram (now deleted), followers were quick to point out that the Japanese writing actually said: BBQ Grill!

So how did this happen?
Ari tattooed the characters ‘七輪 ‘ on her hand.
Now, according to Kotaku, separately, '七' does mean ‘seven’ and '輪' does mean ‘circle’ or ‘ring’ however, when put TOGETHER the characters mean ‘small charcoal grill’
