The hotel is set to open its doors on the northern banks of the Yarra in 2022 (opposite the Melbourne Convention Centre).
There’ll be no extra charge for your four-legged friends, which the hotel currently defines as dogs (it doesn’t rule out other animals, but a spokesperson has stated that they’d be considered on a case-by-case basis).
Only a few rules apply.
Owners are responsible for any damage their fur bubs cause, pets must be on a leash in public spaces, and they can’t be left alone.
Their New York branch currently only allows dogs weighing up to 12 kilograms, and it’s likely the Melbourne hotel will follow suit.
What a time to be alive! Hopefully, we get to see more hotels like these pop up in the years to come!
