A B-Double has gone up in flames on the New England Highway at Beresfield.
It happened just before midday near Anderson Drive and all westbound lanes closed.
Westbound motorists are being diverted onto John Renshaw Drive and Weakleys Drive to rejoin the New England Highway.
The truck was carrying approximately 800 litres of diesel at the time.
The driver is safe.
Police are reminding driver to exercise caution and avoid the area if you can.
