Two young children have been hospitalised in a critical condition after being discovered in a backyard pool yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened in Morayfield at 4.30pm, with two toddlers, aged 16 months and 2 years respectively, pulled from the pool in a near-drowning.
Ten Queensland Ambulance crews responded to the call out, with one toddler taken with the High Acuity Response Unit to Queensland's Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
The other child was rushed to Caboolture Hospital, and later moved to Queensland Children's Hospital.
