Four fire crews are at the scene of a fire that has been quelled in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

A large shed-like structure near O'Reilly's in Lamington National Park went up in flames around 4am on Thursday, before firefighters arrived and had it under control by 6am.

A fire investigator was on the way to investigate the cause of the blaze.

No one was injured.

Meanwhile a forklift caught alight at a work site in Yatala overnight.

Workers at the scene on Hovey Road had put the blaze out by the time fire crews arrived.

Paramedics assessed one patient at around 8pm but they declined treatment.
