Local MP Katrina Hodgkinson says she’s confident that her calls for more police officers for Narrandera and Temora have been heard, after meeting with senior police at Parliament House this week.
Ms Hodgkinson met with the new Police Commissioner Mick Fuller and Deputy Commissioner Gary Worboys, to discuss concerns residents have raised with her about police numbers in their towns.
A petition has been launched in Narrandera, calling on the state government to review police numbers in the town, after a spike in crime.
