Attendant threatened with a knife

Police have released CCTV footage of terrifying armed robbery of a Matilda service station in Southport.

The culprit struck around 2.30am Sunday, threatening an attendant with a knife and demanding cash, before leaving empty handed.

The staff member was not injured.

The offender was wearing dark jeans, a long-sleeved dark top and had a black shirt wrapped around the lower part of his face.
