Central Coast Man Injured In Stair Fall

A man has been left with a serious head injury after falling down a flight of stairs on the Central Coast overnight.

The 67-year-old was airlifted by CareFlight from a Hardys Bay home to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition after 4:00PM.

It kicked off a busy evening for local emergency services.

 

 

Two drivers have avoided serious injury in Glenning Valley, after their cars hit head on.

The incident on Berkeley Road around 6:00PM left two people trapped in one car, with the rescue squad using hydraulic cutters to free them from the wreck.

Two men behind the wheel are now in Gosford Hospital, recovering from neck and shoulder pain.
