A man has come into contact with a deadly herbicide.
A chemical spill at a Brookstead home has seen a 30-year-old man rushed to hospital by Paramedics after the weed killer “Paraquat” came in contact with his legs, resulting in burns.
The herbicide “Paraquat” is illegal in 32 countries but is a popular weed killer across the Darling Downs. The herbicide is used to control broadleaf weeds and grasses.
There are 65 Paraquat products being used in Australia.
