This Mother’s Day has come and gone down under, but overseas, our biggest stars are still celebrating.
Our newsfeeds are currently filled with declarations of love from celebrities to their mothers, as well as appreciation posts from mamas themselves.
One of our favourite social media queens, Chrissy Teigen, has taken the opportunity to draw focus to postpartum depression and anxiety - an experience she has openly talked about in the past.
“All of the wonderful stories you shared for #MyWishForMoms have made this Mother’s Day extra special. You are amazing! Because of you, millions of moms and moms-to-be are learning about the warning signs of postpartum depression and that it’s real and treatable,"she wrote on Instagram.
“We have created a beautiful community of support that doesn’t just include other moms, but friends and loved ones who are now more aware – and there for you if you need help.
