Dareton Police have slammed the behaviour of a Victorian driver, arresting and charging him following an incident on the Silver City Highway.
Officers believe he stole a Toyota Corolla from Broken Hill, allegedly obtaining fuel before fleeing towards Wentworth.
Officers attempted to stop the car on the Silver City Highway, the driver allegedly driving in a dangerous manner through Curlwaa.
The driver allegedly drove through a red traffic light before continuing onto Abbotsford Bridge, and colliding with an oncoming vehicle.
The driver was forcibly removed from the vehicle by police.
The 35-year-old has been charged with a number of serious offenses, including driving in a dangerous manner while fleeing police.
