Yesterday morning, over 600 Toowoomba residents, including students, teachers, council members, representatives from various organisations and police, attended the 2017 Mayoral Prayer breakfast at the Rumours International.
After a hearty breakfast and presentations from a variety of church organisations, guest speaker,Andrew Scipione AO APM addressed the audience. Mr Scipione was the former NSW Police Commissioner for ten years having only retired five weeks ago.
Mr Scipione provided a fantastic presentation on the importance of leadership, in particular focusing on his own personal experiences going on to compliment the police present and acknowledging the work that police do to serve the community.
