A man has been killed in a horror smash near Stockton Bridge.
Police say a Ford Falcon sedan collided with a Toyota Camry while travelling along Nelson Bay Road at Kooragang at around 4pm this afternoon.
Another ute then hit a second sedan before the ute caught on fire - leaving the driver with critical injuries.
Sadly he died at the scene.
The driver of the Falcon sedan believed to be in his 40s suffered arm injuries and is receiving treatment in the John Hunter Hospital.
Another two drivers are undergoing mandatory testing.
