Gippsland

If you slept through the earthquake that shook parts of Gippsland overnight, you're not the only one.

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded at Rawson - near Baw Baw National Park just before 1am.

With the epicentre near the Thomson Dam, geo-scientific equipment recorded the quake 10 kilometres underground.

The State Emergency Service received no reports from residents in the area.
