The Forensic crash unit is investigating a fatality that happened in Drayton over the weekend.
A car carrying a 79 year old Harristown woman collided with a four wheel drive on Brisbane Road around 11:00 yesterday morning.
The woman was trapped in the wreckage before fire crews managed to free her. She was taken to Toowoomba Hospital where she died a short time later.
The driver of the four wheel drive suffered minor injuries.
