A huge weekend in Jazz has wrapped up in Mount Gambier after yet another successful Generations in Jazz event.
A packed house of 6000 took in some of the world’s most high-profile Jazz musicians, along with the 68 piece Adelaide Symphony Orchestra those who attended said the atmosphere was electric.
At the heart of the weekend was the School Band competition and with 125 schools represented Melbourne's Blackburn High won the division 1 category.
In the vocal ensembles the top schools were Adelaide's St Peters Girls and Immanuel College.
