The Easter long weekend is a great chance (because the weather is AMAZING) to enjoy the outdoors.

While a lot of people will get outside and knock over some yard renos, or camping, we have another idea...

WATERFALL CHASING!

The TLC gals have told us since 1994 'don't go chasing waterfalls', but we're all about it this long weekend.

Fill the car with fuel, snacks, water bottles, insect repellent and good company, the waterfalls will bring the good times.

If you're up for a half day adventure, Jourama Falls is a 1 hour drive north of Townsville and will amaze you.

You'll get a good chance to stretch your legs after the drive, with the best spots to enjoy the falls taking you on a 3km return walk that'll take about an hour.

Maybe a bit longer if you stop for Insta shots ;)

Gabi had an awesome time checking out Jourama recently- see the video now!

A full day trip will take you north to Wallaman Falls, the tallest single drop waterfall in Australia.

The drive to the falls will take around 2.5 hours from Townsville, but you'll be able to stop for a snack in Ingham.

If you're looking to escape further north there's the beautiful Josephine Falls 3 hours north of the city, and 1 hour from Mission Beach.

Further again is Millaa Millaa Falls where you can stay in the rolling hills of the Tablelands and get some great pics while you're there!
