Two of Griffith's key operators have walked away with gold & silver at the recent 2018 Riverina Murray Regional Tourism Awards.
Quest Griffith took out gold in the Deluxe Accommodation category and Limone Dining got silver in the Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services.
Griffith City Council Tourism and Events Committee Chairperson, Christine Stead, praised the local businesses.
“It’s fantastic to see Griffith doing so well in the regional tourism awards,” Cr Stead said.
“I congratulate the teams at Limone Dining and Quest for providing fantastic service and becoming leaders in the tourism industry in the region, in a relatively short period of time.”
Mayor John Dal Broi also congratulated both businesses on their award wins.
“This acknowledgement is testament to the hard work and commitment that they put in to ensure they deliver the best possible service,” Cr Dal Broi said.
“It is wonderful to see them going from strength to strength. Well done to everyone at both Quest and Limone Dining, keep doing what you are doing, you have done the city proud.”
Winners in 14 categories were announced at the gala awards ceremony with finalists from tourism businesses, events, restaurants, wineries and accommodation providers.
