A man in Griffith has been charged with breaching an Apprehended Violence Order (Domestic) as investigations into the death of a local woman continue.
Officers from a Murrumbidgee Police District discovered a 27-year-old woman deceased in a rear shed on Kookora Street, Griffith, after reports of a concern for welfare early Sunday morning.
Around 9:30am (Sunday 15th July), a 35-year-old man was arrested in Griffith in relation to a breach AVO allegation.
Bail was formally refused yesterday (Monday 16th July), and the man is set to appear in court today. Investigations into the woman’s death continue.
