Set to hit cinemas this week in Australia, Joel Edgerton’s new film, Boy Erased, follows the story of a teenage boy forced to take part in gay conversion therapy by his Baptist parents; a practice which still happens today in Australia.
Directed by and starring Joel Edgerton, the Aussie explained to Heidi, Xavier & Ryan this morning the difficulties of shooting such an intense true story, as well as giving aspiring actors and filmmakers some brilliant advice about breaking into the industry.
