Ausgrid is working to restore power to 26,000 homes and businesses across Sydney after an outage.
Electricity supply was reportedly interrupted just before midday, with customers in Sydney's Upper North Shore and the Hills area affected.
Impacted areas include:
- Hornsby
- Waitara
- Asquith
- Hornsby Heights
- Wahroonga
- Galston
- Mount Colah
- Normanhurst
At this stage, the estimated time for restoration is 2.30pm for certain areas, with others without an estimate due to "complex repairs" needed.
Crews are currently investigating the cause of the outage.
