On Thursday, July 7th, 2005, Gill Hicks’s world was turned upside-down when four young suicide bombers killed 52 people on London’s underground trains and later, a bus. 700 others were left injured, including Gill, who suffered a number of injuries, including the loss of both her legs. 

Speaking with Bec & Cosi on air this morning, Gill recounted what happened that day and how she has dedicated her life to achieving peace ever since.
