Man Arrested Over Numerous Property Offences

31 Year Old Faces 10 Charges

A 31 year old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a major crackdown by Wagga Police on property crime.

The man has been charged with 10 separate offences, including 6 counts of beak and enter 2 attempted break-ins, one count of maliciously damaging proprety by fire and shoplifting.

He was refused bail to front court today.

Wagga Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Darren Cloake, says the arrest is part of a continued effort by police to reduce property crime in the area, in response to more than 100 break ins across the city this month alone.
