A man has been shot several times in the leg and groin at Upper Coomera last night.

Police were called to the scene on Kumnick Street shortly after 8.30pm on Tuesday with reports of a shooting.

It is believed a number of men entered a home before the 33-year-old sustained gunshot wounds.

The group then fled in a vehicle.

The man was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition, with Nine Gold Coast reporting he did not make a complaint.

Investigations were ongoing, and anyone who may have information for police to shed light on the incident, or dashcam footage from the area, is asked to contact police.
