Significant Arrest - Kambalda
At about 10.20am on Wednesday the 15th of March 2017, officers from Kambalda Police Station were conducting traffic duties on the Coolgardie-Esperance Highway.
10 kilometers south of the Widgiemooltha Roadhouse, police stopped a white Nissan Navara travelling north for a speeding related offence.
As a result the vehicle and occupants were searched. During the search officers located a bag containing approximately 5 Kilograms of cannabis plant material in sealed packaging and further drug items including an amount of Methyl Amphetamine.
A 43 year old female and 44 year old male from Mount Barker were arrested and later charged with possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell/supply and drug related offences, both were remanded in custody to appear at Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court on Thursday 16 March 2017 (PD11875)
