Deputy Prime Minister and Riverina MP Michael McCormack has met with new Prime Minister Scott Morrisson and National Drought Co-Ordinator, Major General Stephen Day, on Mr Morrisson’s first full day in the top job.
Mr McCormack also announced the Nationals ministry, adding Regional Development to his own portfolios of Infrastructure and Transport.
Farrer MP Sussan Ley has been named in Prime Minister Morrison’s outer ministry, as the Assistant Minister for Regional Development and Territories.
