The Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort has reopened this morning after evacuating on Tuesday.
Despite fire activity in the area still being evident, emergency authorities have advised there is no longer an imminent risk to the popular holiday spot.
Chair of the Resort Board Allan Bawden says they will continue to monitor the situation and take on board any further advice from emergency crews.
