Following meetings with commonwealth state and territory education ministers, the annual NAPLAN exam will move from pen and paper to online.
If the trial called the rediness test, is successful, all Australian schools including those across the limestone coast will participate in NAPLAN online by 2019.
In August and September this year a final decision about the online exam will be made following rediness tests in the state.
