If you're worried your chocolate habit might not be that helpful, we've got news for you.

Research presented at the recent European Society of Cardiology conference in Munich found those who eat chocolate bars three times per month reduced their risk of heart failure by 13 per cent, compared to those who don't eat chocolate at all.

The study involved more than half a million people - and claims natural compounds in cocoa, flavonoids, boost blood vessel health, and reduce inflammation.

But don't go overboard. If you indulge in a chocolate bar every day, then your risk of heart failure can increase by 17 per cent.
