P!nk has touched the lives of millions around the world with her empowering music. She always finds ways to give the love back and this is another example of the singer’s pure compassion.

Calvin, a survivor of brain cancer who lives with Down Syndrome and Autism, has listened to P!nk’s music for most of his life. In 2013, just after buying tickets to The Truth About Love World Tour, he was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumour. It prompted his carer and mother, Nerida to send a message to a P!nk fan group to tell his story… and P!nk read it!

Five years later, Calvin was given the opportunity to meet his idol backstage before one of her shows at Rod Laver Arena. He was joined by Nerida and his grandmother for what was a true milestone after his health battles.

P!nk described it as “one of the sweetest memories” of her life. What an amazing story!
