Police have caught up with a boy who's alleged to have broken into a number of Northern Beaches homes.

He's been charged with 11 offences.

Officers from Cairns Property Crime Squad have made further arrests after a spate of property related offences in the Cairns region.

Police yesterday arrested a 16-year-old boy Mooroobool boy in relation to a number of ongoing investigations into break-ins over the past week.

It will be alleged that the boy entered numerous dwellings throughout the Cairns northern beaches area, stealing car keys, money and other personal items.



The Mooroobool boy was charged with a total of 11 offences including, six counts of burglary, three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one count of entering a premise and committing an indictable offence and one count of receiving tainted property.
