"Today is a big day of relief with borders coming down and I think there's a lot of relieved people who have been separated from friends and family for a very long time."

Premier Steven Marshall is excited for a lot of "fantastic scenes" down at Adelaide airport as people reunite with their loved ones "I think it will be a bit Love Actually"

Lehmo asked the Premier what his best and worst-case scenarios are in the coming months if Covid also makes it across the border:

"As we become more vaccinated we become more protected and the transmission potential of this disease really really massively slows down. As of today, we rule out any state-wide lockdowns and lockouts."

The Premier also spoke on the prospect of mandatory vaccination:

"We haven't made it mandatory in South Australia, people have a choice. I think increasingly businesses will be saying 'we don't want to take the chance'"

"There are a lot of reasons why people should go and get vaccinated."

"Does somebody who's unvaccinated want to be the person who passes this disease on to a loved one?"
