Riddoch Highway safety upgrade

Audio tactile line marking introduced

26 April 2017

The State Government have announced more works to improve safety on our local roads with a section of the Riddoch Highway to receive audio tactile line marking.

3 kilometres of the Riddoch Highway between Penola and Nangwarry have seen work commence this week.

The Department of Planning Transport and Infrastructure says the ATLM will assist in reducing rural road crashes by providing noise and vibration warnings if road users veer toward the edge.

The road will remain open while works are carried out. They're expected to be completed by May.
