Nana Glen local Russell Crowe has sent the internet into a flurry, by auctioning off a dirty South Sydney Rabbitohs Cap to raise funds for the local Rural Fire Service.
After his home was damaged in the recent bushfires, Crowe posted the cap for sale on his Twitter account resulting in a number of substantial bids coming in from all over the world.
But it was just prior to the auction closing, that Aussie billionaire Mike Cannon-Brookes tweeted an incredible generous $100k AUD bid, that Crowe agreed to match.
He has since clarified that $10k will go to each of the Nana Glen brigades, and $5k for other local operations!
