A man is in police custody after a frightening aggravated burglary at a Glen Waverley home on Thursday night.
The 30-year-old assailant rocked up to the private residence on Blackburn Road confronting the occupants, firing shots and brandishing a taser.
The offender fled in a car, before dumping the vehicle after getting involved in a collision.
He then made a run for it before police patrolling the area caught up with him.

It's believed everyone involved was known to each other.
