Sing-A-Long With Cliffo & Gabi's 'Autumn Anthem' Lyrics

SING IT LOUD!

18 March 2019

Cliffo & Gabi

It came to our attention that Autumn is a somewhat 'forgotten' season.

The weather doesn't change too much for us in North Queensland, but A LOT of great stuff still happens when March kicks off.

So we got our thinking caps on, wrote some lyrics and got input from listeners too on what an Autumn Anthem might sound like.

The end product is...well, great (check out the music video- Trent Bell is in it!)

On Saturday night the Cowboys kicked off their 2019 NRL season and WE WERE THERE as pre-game entertainment.

#WHAT?!

Watch the LIVE performance now and then scroll down and learn the words!

After popular demand we're giving the people what they want, the lyrics to 'It's Autumn Though'...enjoy!

Oonoonba, Idalia, oh I want to take ya,

Bluewater, Black River, say farewell to Summer

Annandale, Aitkenvale, Autumn is the way now

Aircon Bills took our money, there’s a season called Autumn though,

That’s where you want to go, to get away from the Chaff

The footy is back, not so much sweat down your crack

Heading towards that one cold week, no more swims at crystal creek

Now we’ve got Autumn though

Oonoonba, Idalia, oh I want to take ya,

Bluewater, Black River, say farewell to Summer

Annandale, Aitkenvale, Autumn is the way now

Oh, I want to take you down to

Pimlico, we’ll take Kings Road (don’t hit that toad!)

That’s where we want to go, now that it’s Autumn though

Rasmussen, where everyone’s your cousin

We’ll go to Horseshoe Bay, in the cool breeze we’ll lay

All the stingers have gone away, they’ve swum back out to sea

Afternoon delight, no cyclones for Autumn nights

No more stingy sweat in your eye, or days so hot you fry

Coz we’re in Autumn though

Oonoonba, Idalia, oh I want to take ya,

Bluewater, Black River, say farewell to Summer

Annandale, Aitkenvale, Autumn is the way now

Oh, I want to take you down to

Pimlico, we’ll take Kings Road (don’t hit that toad!)

That’s where we want to go, now that its Autumn though
