Among the many dogs and cats the RSPCA has up for adoption is this gorgeous horse Lucy!
Lucy is a majestic 11-year-old thoroughbred-cross who was surrendered to RSPCA inspectors last year.
She's steadily regained her confidence in a caring foster home since and is ready to find her forever home.
The RSPCA describe Lucy as "very calm, sweet-natured and social, though she can be a little bossy with other equines!"
Some special needs Lucy has can be discussed with potential adopters but they recommend she'd be best suited as a companion horse or for occasional, very light pleasure riding. Lucy's adoption fee is just $300 and if you're interested in giving her the long-term home she deserves, please head to the website to arrange a meet and greet. Or if you're interested in a smaller variety of furry friend, the RSPCA has a number of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and even mice to re-home. Check out the adoption page on their website for more info. Missed Amos, Cat & Angus this morning? Download the Hit app on iTunes or Google Play and catch up now!
