It's amazing to think that people still don't understand the message of Double Demerits.
We're at the long weekend, and this person was caught by Bridgetown Police in two separate offences.
A lady has lost her licence thanks to two speeding incidents - one at 92km/h in a 60km/h zone and one at 90km/h in a 60km/h zone.
The incident occurred on Thursday night after 8pm, 20 hours into the Double Demerit long weekend. Over the night, Bridgetown Police issued 7 tickets which resulted in 24 points lost off licences and a total of $1700 of fines. Meanwhile early Friday morning, police in Kwinana caught one driver doing 123km/h in an 80km/h zone. The driver said to police "I thought I was doing 109km/h" which isn't the greatest response in an 80km/h zone. And then of course, there's this person caught by Waroona Police on South Western Highway on Thursday doing 150km/h in a 90km/h zone. That means the car is impounded and an Easter that person won't forget for a while.
