After spending time on the streets when he first moved to Australia, this restaurant owner is now doing his bit to help the homeless.

Owner of Ginger & Garlic, Ashish Sood, moved to Brisbane in 2007 and spent a couple of weeks homeless while he studied hospitality.

After years of hard work, his dream of owning his own restaurant was achieved and now he's lending a helping hand to others in his situation.

A.B & Ben caught up with Ashish for 2018 Homeless Week, and he says he would love to see more restaurants take part.
