Now that the rains are gone, the sun is shining again, and don't we know it!
Crank that aircon and stay in the shade whenever possible because a heatwave is hitting Townsville now and is hanging around.
Down a heap of water because at this stage it looks like the temps won't be backing off until at least Friday when we'll see the top temp drop from 36-32.
This weekend we've got a shower or two on the cards for Saturday and Sunday with top temps ranging from 31-32.
