Hold on to your hats!

The North Queensland Elite Rodeo family have something a little different in store for you this year! The Townsville family who are best known for their annual rodeo event, have decided to lend a helping hand to those out west who have been affected by the floods.

An epic country music festival which they are calling Lifting the Outback, will be held on the family's rodeo grounds with 100 percent of the proceeds being donated to flood relief. So far the family have already donated $20,000 to the cause and are urging other businesses to reach into their pockets to help out their fellow Aussies.

So if you're ready to get buck-wild this May, head to the Facebook event or listen to JB chat with one of NQ Elite Rodeo's founders Quentin Kersh about the upcoming event...
