The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development have urgently called on Esperance gardeners to return a prohibited plant, after 800 of them were mistakenly sold across the state.

Callisia Repens, also known as a 'Pink Lady' by it's trade name, is prohibited in WA due to its potential environmental problems.

According to the department, 13 of the 15 Callisia Pink Lady sold in Esperance are still yet to be recovered.
