The US embassy in Canberra has issued an apology after a meeting invitation circulated, featuring a cake sitting in pyjamas with a bowl of cookies.
The email had the subject of 'meeting' and contained some Latin text, with the cat pic included below a headline of 'cat pajama-jam'.
It is not clear how many people received the email, but a public affairs counsellor has issued a statement apologising for the misfired email, according to SMH.
