Yarra Valley Water has issued a water warning notice for more than 80 Melbourne suburbs. Supplies were contaminated last night during the storm where a power failure knocked out the treatment system and untreated water has been circulated into the city.
Residents of the following suburbs need to boil their water before using it for consumption or food preparation! Water that hasn’t been boiled can be used to shower with, doing the washing or gardening.
